To all concerned:
I am sure many of you have heard of the situation in
Montgomery, Alabama,
that has been capturing national attention. That of
Alabama Supreme Court
Chief Justice Roy Moore and his taking a stand
against a federal court
order. This situation was created when a federal
judge ordered that a
granite monument, erected two years before, by judge
Moore, be removed or
face penalties imposed by the federal courts. This
fine was of $5000 per day
that the monument remained in place.
The monument has inscribed upon it, the Ten
Commandments, quotes from the Declaration of
Independence, quotes of Founding Fathers of the
Country, and
from the Alabama constitution.
At the first, this was a states rights issue. Our
founders were very wise and knew the tendency
towards centralized power, therefore the states
granted to the
federal government, (not the other way around),
certain arenas of
jurisdiction. This was not one. This was not the
Federal courts' business.
Unfortunately, the other justices of the supreme
court of Alabama tucked tail
and ran as fast as they could (boys, those are
judges' robes not black
dresses) and showed they are less than men licking
the hand of the federal
courts (my-o-my! Mama must be proud!).
These sissy-britches (that's what my dear old daddy
would say) have committed treason against the people
of Alabama by turning their backs on the
constitution of Alabama and the United States.
Had these justices and the Governor of Alabama been
men they would
have found an incredible host supporting them, but
they will find that
posterity will call them cowards.
Judge Roy Moore, I am sure, would say he is merely a
man, but I wish all people could know such a man.
Sadly, he is alone -except for that great cloud of
witnesses. I cannot interfere with the people of
Alabama but I do not have to economically support a
State that treats courageous men this way!
I encourage all people everywhere to Boycott the
State of Alabama in all forms possible. I resolve to
not buy anything I know is produced there and I
certainly will not spend a day within the borders of
that state.
Send
an email to the state of Alabama and let them
know your intent. Cowardice and Dollars go hand in
hand.
Deo Vindice!
